Mineral Exploration Geophysics

Most of our work is applied to mineral exploration.  Data acquired from our ground based geophysical surveys is used to supplement lithological, geochemical, structural and other geological data sets applied in the search for mineral deposits.

 

Depending on the technique we apply, the results can be used to directly identify mineral accumulations or map geological features which assist exploration teams to vector towards their targets.

 

We regularly acquire Electromagnetic, IP/Resistivity, Magnetic and Gravity data to assist exploration for a wide variety of commodities, mostly metallic, but also including non-metallics such as gypsum, coal and ground water resources.

 

Over the past 15 years we have worked on almost 300 projects in Australia, Asia, Pacific, Africa and Europe for clients large and small, including Newcrest, Glencore (Xstrata), MMG, Harmony, OZ Minerals, First Quantum, Anglo, Norilsk and many more.

 

We have gained a vast amount of expertise operating in very remote and rugged terrains from the desert country of Australia and Africa, snow covered high altitudes of the Himalaya's, remote and extremely rugged tropics of Papua New Guinea, and a vast range of conditions in between.

 

We mobilise from operating bases in Australia (Victoria), Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Thailand and France.
